As of this date we do not have any shows which have definite dates. We have canceled the remainder of our summer shows, Oaks, PA on August 22nd and 23rd, and Edison, NJ on August 29th and 30th. We could not obtain the necessary legal permissions to operate either show from the state governments.

We have worked hard trying to make train shows happen over the summer. While we did not think the shows would be profitable, we knew many exhibitors depend on shows to feed their families. We are aware that many hobbyists really need a distraction in these difficult times. This is a very sad end to the 2 man months of work and the thousands of dollars we have already spent on advertising and promotion of the summer shows.

We sincerely appreciate all the past support we have received and we are continuing to evaluate when we will be able to safely provide train shows in accordance with the government restrictions. We hope everyone will remain safe and healthy in these very uncertain times.

We want to return to normal train shows as soon as possible. We know that our exhibitors are dependent on shows for their livelihood. Our customers want to attend train shows as evidenced by the huge number of people who purchased tickets more than 10 days in advance for the Monroeville show.

We are anxious to recall our staff from furlough and put our staff back to work creating quality events. We can not control the current environment. We will not run a show unless we are convinced it can be done safely with sufficient space, aisles, social distancing and other appropriate actions to prevent the spread of Covid-19. We can not run shows until government entities agree that it is a prudent thing to do.

Our concern is the current situation is so fluid that a government entity can change their mind or take a new action, that will result in the show having to be cancelled on short notice. This can result in a loss of thousands of dollars which we can not afford.

We will be evaluating the situation and if there is any reasonable and rational way to run a train show we will, but we will not risk health and safety. Our current plan is for shows to resume in the 4th quarter of 2020.  We are planing to begin with several Greenberg shows in November and December and then expand to Great Train Shows in December or January after we have had operated a few Greenberg shows to ensure we understand all the issues with Covid-19 restrictions. We will have another update on this available in late September.

Below, we have published below a tentative schedule of Greenberg shows and would plan to announce a tentative schedule of Great Train Shows sometime in November. The Great Midwest Train Show is planned to resume about 30 days after the state of Illinois lifts its ban on gatherings of greater than 250 people. At present we have no idea when Illinois will release that restriction.

The Tentative Greenberg Shows Schedule for fourth quarter 2020 and first quarter of 2021:

Oct 31-Nov 1 - Monroeville,PA
Nov 21-22 - Wilmington, MA
Nov 28-29 - Edison, NJ
Dec 5-6 - Timonium, MD
Dec 19-20 - Chantilly, VA
Jan 2-3 - Virginia Beach, VA
Jan 9-10 - Oaks, PA
Jan 23-24 - Richmond, VA
Feb 13-14 - Monroeville, PA
Feb 20-21 - Fredericksburg, VA
Feb 27-28 - Rochester, NY
March 6-7 - Wilmington, DE
March 13-14 - Edison, NJ
March 27-28 - Wilmington, MA

Please remember this is only a tentative schedule and is likely to change. Please remember this is only a Greenberg show schedule and Great Train Shows will be added later. There are still many unknowns regarding what the impact of Covid-19 will be later in the year, what city and state regulations will be and what restrictions venues will have.  Please check regularly for the latest updates. Thank you for your support and interest in our shows.
